Established in 1972,
Pintendre Autos did not reinvent the wheel, but it set
out to redefine the industry by coming up with a
dismantling and classification system that stressed
efficiency both internally as well as from the
customer's point of view.
Already in 1981, Pintendre Autos' reputable service,
quality products and solid warranties had paid off,
making it the largest autorecycling facility in North
America.
Throughout the years, Pintendre Autos was rewarded with
many prestigious awards. We were especially proud in
1990, to have been recognized worldwide by the ARA (Automotive
Recyclers' Association) as the best structured auto
recycling facility chosen from 1800 other auto recycling
corporate entities located in 14 countries.
Two years later, the gouvernement of Canada awarded
Pintendre Autos the prestigious ''CABE (Canada Award for
Business Excellence / Entrepreneuship)''.
Today we count nearly 300 employees (3 times as much as
our nearest competitor). Pintendre Autos Inc. buys in
excess of 10,000 cars annually, 250 heavy trucks and 350
recreational vehicles (motorcycles, snowmobiles etc..).
